Accessibility and Utilization of Internet Facilities in College Libraries for Effective Service Delivery among Librarians in Gombe State, North-East Nigeria

Abstract

This study investigates the Accessibility and Utilization of internet facilities in the college Libraries for effective service delivery among Librarians in Gombe state North-East, Nigeria. The study has three main Research objectives which examines the accessibility of Internet facilities in college Libraries, investigates the types of Internet facilities use in college Libraries, and determines the strategies that enhance the accessibility and uses of Internet facilities among Librarians in college Libraries for effective service delivery in Gombe state. The study used descriptive survey research design. This study covered college libraries in Gombe state. The study used Random sampling. Instruments used for collecting Data include Questionnaires. The findings of this study reveal the accessibility and uses of Internet facilities, as well as the strategies that enhanced the accessibility and usability of Internet facilities in college libraries in Gombe state.
